How Housemind Works
Housemind sits between raw Loxone events and the spoken message your family hears. The goal is simple: fewer robotic alerts, more context-aware voice prompts that make sense in the moment.
1. Connect your Loxone Miniserver
Start by pairing Housemind with your Loxone Miniserver and choosing the Virtual Text Input that should receive finished TTS messages.
2. Read live smart home context
Housemind can pull weather, room presence, light levels, air quality, window and door states, and other Miniserver context that helps explain what is actually happening.
3. Add timing and household logic
Not every event deserves the same message. Housemind considers time of day, routines, occupancy, room personality, and custom preferences so the spoken output matches the situation.
4. Generate a natural message
Once the context is assembled, Housemind creates a short TTS-ready line designed for real homes. It aims for calm, useful phrasing instead of blunt or repetitive system alerts.
5. Send it back to Loxone
The final message is sent to Loxone for playback through your existing voice setup. For localized playback, Housemind can also prepare language-prefixed payloads where supported.
Typical use cases
- Bedroom window still open when the temperature drops outside
- Rain approaching while a kitchen window is still open
- Late-night reminders that should sound quieter and more reassuring
- Room-specific messages shaped by occupancy and air quality
